Chairman of Sovfracht BoD awarded with the “Traditions and Standards” Honorary Sign
The award was established by Russian Chamber of Shipping in 2017
Dmitry Purim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sovfracht JSC has been awarded with the “Traditions and Standards” Honorary Sign established by Russian Chamber of Shipping in 2017. The award marks the contribution into the development of sea and river transport of Russia and the defense of Russian shipping companies’ interests, says the press center Sovfracht.
Sovfracht JSC is a member of Russian Chamber of Shipping which numbers 83 organizations of sea and river transport including 55 shipping companies with a total deadweight exceeding 18 million tonnes.
The key goals of Russian Chamber of Shipping include protection and promotion of its members’ interests on the national and international levels, improving the image of Russian shipping, facilitation of sea and river fleet development and modernization. The key target of RCS is to create favorable conditions for the shipping business in Russia while ensuring safety of navigation.
Sovfracht JSC is a transport and logistics company established in 1929. The company offers services on marine and river transportation of cargo with its unique experience in transportation of oversize and overweight cargo, stevedoring, broker’s and freight forwarding services, ship agency and insurance of cargo, container transportation and railway transport, operation of storage facilities. In 2021, the company carried 25.9 thousand TEU, 37% more, year-on-year.
