Equipment of Volgogradneftemash for winter diesel production delivered to Omsk Refinery by NSR
Modern equipment manufactured by JSC Volgogradneftemash for the hydrotreating and dewaxing complex of diesel fuel arrived at the Omsk Oil Refinery of Gazprom Neft. There are the key elements of the future complex: reaction units for hydrotreating and dewaxing, as well as a high pressure separator, Volgogradneftemash says in a press release.
The reactors are made of high-strength chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel and meet all the requirements of international quality standards. Their length reaches 44 meters, and the total weight of the delivered vessels exceeds 700 tons. The equipment was delivered to Omsk via the Northern Sea Route.
The new complex, with a capacity of 2.5 million tons of raw materials, will allow the Omsk Oil Refinery to double its output of winter and arctic grade diesel that are in demand on the market.
“Thanks to modernization projects at the Omsk Oil Refinery, we not only increase the efficiency of oil refining processes, but also consistently improve the environmental performance of the enterprise. Cooperation with leading domestic manufacturers and developers allows us to introduce the most advanced technologies and obtain reliable equipment, ”said Oleg Belyavsky, Director General of the Omsk Oil Refinery.
“We are connected with Gazprom Neft by a long-term partnership in the implementation of projects of immense complexity. Effective interaction with the leading Russian oil company promotes joint development and sets high standards of equipment quality for the entire domestic refining industry, ”said Maxim Stepanov, Acting General Director of JSC Volgogradneftemash.
