Draft law on closed zones for dry bulk cargo transshipment submitted to State Duma (document)
Draft law on introduction of amendments in Article 26 of the Federal Law “On seaports of the Russian Federation and introduction of amendments into certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation” has been submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. According to the explanatory note, the law is supposed to require that all new sea terminals intended for transshipment of dusty cargo should have a closed zones preventing dust from entering the environment. The terminals that are in operation or under reconstruction should be brought into compliance with the requirement during one year from the date the amendments enter into force.
