Draft law on development of cruise tourism in Russia’s Arctic and Far East submitted to State Duma
RF Government submitted to the State Duma of Russia the draft law on the development of cruise tourism in the Arctic zone and in the Far East of Russia. According to the official website of RF Government the document (No 1428-р dated 11 July 2018) was signed by RF Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The draft law provides for introduction of amendments into Article 16 of RF Law “On State Border of the Russian Federation” and Article 142 of the Federal Law “On internal sea waters, territorial sea and contiguous zone of the Russian Federation”.
The amendments are supposed to improve legal regulation of cruise tourism activities in internal sea waters, territorial sea and contiguous zone of the Russian Federation adjacent to constituent territories of the Arctic and the Far East zones.
The draft law was considered and approved by RF Government on 5 July 2018.
