CMA CGM announces FAK rates from Asia to North Africa and Red Sea ports
CMA CGM has announced that the Company will apply new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates as from May 15th, 2018 (date of loading in the origin ports in Asia) until further notice (but not beyond May 31st, 2018). Origin range: all Asian main ports. Destination range: to all North African main ports. All outports in Asia and North Africa will be subject to additional surcharges.

The shipping company will also apply as from May 15 (B/L date) FAK rates to dry, OOG breakbulk and reefer cargo carried from all Asian ports to Red Sea ports: USD 200 per TEU. Corresponding FAK rates level will be settled as follows: as from May 15th, 2018, FAK Tariff Guide Lines (excl. THC both ends) are: USD 700/20’ - USD 1,100/40’ from all China base ports to Jeddah and Sokhna.
