Transneft’s subsidiary updates ISO certification
Transneft and its subsidiaries have successfully undergone the process of certification of its integrated management system. The certification audit has confirmed the compliance of Transneft-Port Kozmino LLC to the latest standards of ISO 9001:2015 for the Quality and Process Management in the field of crude and oil products pipeline transportation services, Transneft said.
Following the audit results the Transneft's subsidiary received the ISO certificate (has a validity for three years). The certificate confirms that Transneft-Port Kozmino LLC fully complies with the requirements of the international standard, and the implemented management system functions effectively.
The introduction of ISO quality management system “The Provision of Services for Crude Oil & Oil Products Transportation” at Transneft - Port Kozmino LLC began in April 2016. Over this period, regulatory documents had been approved, with identified participants in the management system and risks that could affect the quality of services delivered, and ways to reduce them. Also, specialists and managers of the Oil Terminal had undergone training.
Transneft-Port Kozmino is a subsidiary of Transneft JSC. Oil Terminal Kozmino is the terminus of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system (ESPO). The port was built for transshipment of crude oil delivered by pipeline and railway to sea-going oil tankers.
