Caspian Flotilla Marines moved to the ranges in the course of the combat readiness inspection
In the course of the unannounced combat readiness inspection of the Southern MD troops, Caspian Flotilla Marines moved to the Peski Artilleriyskiye and Adanak ranges where started coherence training, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
During marching, the units practiced mine-clearance and countering sabotage groups of the simulated enemy.
The battalions started preparing for anti-assault defence of the coast and offensive operation.
More than 1,000 servicemen and about 200 pieces of combat and special hardware of the Caspian Flotilla Marine battalions are involved in the inspection.
