Russia’s crude exports via Kozmino terminal in 2015 expected to show 22-pct growth to 30.4 mln t
Exports of Russian crude via the terminal of Transneft – Port Kozmino LLC (port Vostochny, Primorsky Territory) are exoected to by 22% to 30.4 mln t in 2015, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Sergei Dolgikh, the stevedoring company’s Deputy Director General for commodity-transport operations, as saying at the 10th International Congress ‘Oil Terminal 2015’ in Saint-Petersburg.
Exports to China are to make 10.8 mln t (up 1.8, year-on-year), to Japan – 7.42 mln t (-16.6%), to S.Korea – 2.9 mln t (-22%), to USA - 596,600 t (up 6-fold).
Transneft – Port Kozmino LLC is a subsidiary of Transneft JSC. Oil-loading terminal of Kozmino is the terminus of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system (ESPO). The port was built for transshipment of oil delivered by pipeline and railway to sea-going oil tankers. In 2014, the terminal exported 24.9 mln t of ESPO brand crude.
