Krylov Centre takes part in Industry & Trade Ministry's session
A team of Krylov State Research Centre on April 28 took part in the field meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Russia's Industry & Trade Andrei Dutov. The meeting was held at Izhora industrial site of OMZ Group (United Heavy Machinery Plants) and included a tour of one of the workshops of Izhorskiye Zavody plant to see oil refinery reactors operation, some samples of fittings & valves for oil & gas sector industries presented by ZAO NPF TSKBA (fittings & valves design bureau), the Centre press release said.
The main focus of panel meetings of the Research and Development Council on Oil & Gas Equipment of the RF Industry & Trade Ministry included:
- Technologies and equipment for offshore projects;
- Technologies and equipment for geologic exploration.
The goals and purposes of the session attended by the major oil & gas companies as well as OEMs of equipment for hydrocarbons prospecting and development have been outlined in the keynote address by Andrei Dutov, Deputy Minister of RF Ministry of Industry & Trade. During the session the Krylov State Research Centre presented a report titled “Prospective R&D of Krylov Centre for Continental Shelf ” (FTP Development of Civil Marine Technologies) prepared by Director General Vladimir Nikitin and Deputy Director General Oleg Timofeev.
