USPA working towards replacement of paper documents flow in seaports for electronic
Odessa Ukraine Customs Service in its letter to the USPA reports on positive results of the test operation of the module, allowing display the results of trucks weighing in the Port Community System. USPA says the Customs has confirmed its readiness to use the module on a continuous basis.
Starting from 27 April 2015 the paper form of the document with the results of truck weighing made on the scales of USPA, as well as on the stevedoring complexes of «HPC “Ukraina», LLC «Brooklyn-Kiev Port» (the port of Odessa) and LLC «Millennium 2003» (the port of Ilyichevsk) will not be required.The electronic form of the mentioned document will be provided by the PCS to all the stakeholders of the port community. The Customs authorities will note the results of weighing in ISPS in electronic form only.
Currently, USPA is working to expand the list of weight complexes connected to the system.
