Passenger throughput of port Tallinn (Estonia) down 2.8% to 1.75 mln passengers in QI'15
In January-March 2015, the passenger traffic via the port of Tallinn (Estonia) decreased by 2.8%, year-on-year, to 1.75 mln passengers. According to the port authorities, passenger throughput in March decreased by 2.9% to 653,988 persons.
In March, the majority of passengers travelled by Tallinn-Helsinki route (572,940 persons), 73,069 passengers travelled by Tallinn-Stockholm route, 7,848 passengers – by Tallinn-Saint-Petersburg route.
In March, 63% of passengers were serviced by vessels of Tallink, 20% - by Viking Line, 16% - by Eckerö Line and 1% - by St. Peter Line. 438 calls of cruise ships were registered in Tallinn in March 2015.
The port’s freight turnover totaled 28.32 mln t.
