SMM to build 6 portal cranes for NSCP
Russian machine building company SMM CJSC has won the international tender announced by Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port OJSC (NCSP Group) for the manufacture, delivery and installation of six portal cranes, SMM says.
Under the contract signed by the companies, four Aist cranes and two Vityaz crane will be put into operation by the end of 2014.
As of today Novorossiysk port operates eight Vityaz and three Aist cranes.
SMM CJSC (Saint-Petersburg) develops and manufactures cargo lifting equipment which operates in ports and terminals of Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan and EU countries.
NCSP Group is the largest port operator in Russia and the third-largest in Europe, in terms of cargo turnover.
