IMS launches new train from Wolfurt to Rotterdam
As from February 4, service provider IMS will operate a shuttle train between Wolfurt (Austria) and the Port of Rotterdam (Netherlands) that calls at the Swiss terminals Frenkendorf (Basel) and Rekingen (Zurich) twice a week, the company said in its press release.
IMS began to operate the first blocktrain from the German seaports to Wolfurt in 1998, and the service provider has been optimally positioned in that area since then. IMS currently dispatches some 45,000 TEU per year to and from Rotterdam.
