Hapag-Lloyd informs about port omissions on the New York Express service
Hapag-Lloyd informs about port omissions on the NYE service, the company said in its press release.
Due to the heavy snow storms in the beginning of January and consequent heavy congestion at New York, the NYE vessel ZIM Virginia (voyage 047E) has omitted New York and Norfolk. Initial ETA was January 10 and January 11, 2014.
All New York cargo was discharged at Kingston and is being transshipped to New York on:
Hyundai Forward (voyage 36E) with new ETA January 23, 2014
All Norfolk cargo has already been loaded at Kingston to:
NYK Demeter (voyage 35E) and discharged at Norfolk on January 12, 2014
