USC, Sapiem to set up JV in Sept. 2011
United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) and the Italian company Saipem SA are developing a project of a new joint venture, USC head said Thursday.
President of state-owned USC Roman Trotsenko told reporters the process of establishing a new company will begin in September.
The joint venture will be engaged in manufacturing pipelines and drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea, for Russian oil giant LUKOIL.
Saipem SA specializes in the design of submerged structures.
