Gazpromneft Nefteservice sells its oilfield service asset
Gazpromneft Nefteservice has sold its Transportation Service Company to JSC RU-Energy Group, Gazprom Neft said Wednesday.
Under the purchase agreement, TSC will be executing long-term contracts with Gazprom Neft’s units till the end of 2013 with an option of the contracts further extension for 2 years.
In March 2010, Gazprom Neft's Board approved the decision to pull out of oilfield service business. To date, the Company has sold its transportation assets - Muravlenkovskaya Transportation Company, SpecialTransService and a business unit Noyabrsky Central Tube Depot.
“Currently, we are negotiating the sale of other businesses of oilfield services division and intend to complete the process by the end of 2011," said Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Neft Alexander Dyukov.
Gazprom Neft is a vertically integrated Russian oil company with main activities in exploration, development, production and sale of crude oil and gas, oil refining and marketing of petroleum products. Gazprom Neft operates in the largest oil and gas regions in Russia: Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and Tomsk and Omsk Regions. The company’s major refining facilities are located in Omsk, Moscow, and the Yaroslavl regions, as well as in Serbia.
Transportation Service Company LLC provides a broad range of transportation and technology services, specializing in wells cementing. The company operates at the exploration and production sites in the Yamal-Nenets, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, in the Omsk and Tomsk Regions.
