Russian ports expansion strategy is at final phase, Rosmorport says
The "Strategy of development of sea port infrastructure of Russia until 2030" has been nearly completed, FSUE Rosmorport’s official said speaking at the conference "Prospects of the Big Port St. Petersburg," PortNews correspondent reported.
Acting General Director of the federal enterprise Andrew Lavrishchev said that Rosmorport that was developing the strategy, begins in the near future the procedure of the project approval by relevant ministries and agencies.
The long-term strategy is aimed at the formation of an internationally competitive level of domestic seaports infrastructure and its services that would meet the needs of the Russian economy and global trade, the official said.
