LUKOIL, Sovcomflot ink marine oil supply contract
Vagit Alekperov, President of OAO LUKOIL, and Sergey Frank, President & CEO of Sovcomflot Group, signed a contract for the supply of marine lubricants and technical services in accordance with the existing international standards. The contract was signed today in Saint Petersburg within the framework of the International Economic Forum, the LUKOIL's bunkering division said.
The document provides for the delivery by LUKOIL to Sovcomflot between July 1, 2011, and July 1, 2014, of a total of more than 20,000 tonnes of 67 items of various lubricants.
LUKOIL is Russia’s largest oil manufacturer.
LUKOIL marine oils have been approved for use by the world’s leading producers of marine engines. They are manufactured in 17 countries and supplied to vessels in 512 ports of 54 countries.
