Canada lifts restrictions on Japanese foods
Canada has lifted restrictions on food and animal feed imports from Japan imposed over radiation contamination fears following the country's earthquake and nuclear crisis, officials said Tuesday, Vancouver Sun reported.
The ban was lifted "in recognition of the fact that all products from Japan tested have shown no harmful levels of contamination," Tim O'Connor, spokesman for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, told AFP.
