CMA CGM focuses on Le Havre - follow up
CMA CGM policy to focus on Le Havre as a West Europe transhipment platform is again illustrated by the removal in November of Zeebrugge from the rotation of its French relay service (Feeder 'Arc Atlantique' - 9065). This feeder service has been already calling at Le Havre, which will then become CMA CGM main port of transhipment to connect deep sea services with French Bay, Iberia, UK and Ireland.
his move follows the decision to serve Ireland through Le Havre with the relevant feeder service (9103) (See related news) and the addition of Le Havre to the Asia-Europe NCX service (3210) (See related news). Le Havre is already served with the Asia-Europe FAL 1 and FAL 2 (3200 / 3205) and two other Asia-Europe services through slot buying. Le Havre is also widely used by CMA CGM's transatlantic services, Latin America services, Africa services and ANZ-related services.
