CN launches China operations
CN WorldWide has started offering international freight forwarding services from China after opening offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen that will serve markets in the rest of Asia, as well as North America and Europe.
"We are very excited about our new China operations. China is a key driver in CN WorldWide's freight forwarding business. Our presence here enables us to better serve our customers and support the increasing transpacific trade," said Anita Ernesaks, vice president of CN and Global managing director of CN WorldWide, which is headquartered in Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
In other news, the company hosted a forum, called: "A Logistics Survival Guide: Best practices of North America's top industry leaders" on October 12.
As its name suggests, the forum sought to provide a platform for more than 200 industry experts to share best practices on how to navigate the complex North American logistics network and move imports and exports between China and North America.
