Loading of North Caucasus Railway up 4% in 3Q06
Loading of North Caucasus Railway amounted in the 3rd quarter of 2006 to 20 million tons (+4% against year-on-year result), NCRW PR service reports. Loading of oil and oil products grew by 20%, ferrous metals – by 18%, cement – by 30.5%, construction materials – by 14.5%), metal structures - by 66%, equipment – by 20.5%, industrial goods – by 31%. In September NCRW loaded over 6.5 million tons of cargo (+4% against year-on-year result). Loading of oil and oil products grew by 16.5%, ferrous metals – by 31%, mineral fertilizers – by 7%, cement – by 35%, import - by 83%, metal structures - by 80%, industrial goods – by 39%. In January-September 2006 NCRW loaded about 54 million tons of cargo (+5% against year-on-year result). Loading of oil and oil products grew by 20%, cement – by 25.5%, construction materials – by 22%), industrial raw materials – by 13.6%, metal structures – by 34%, ferrous metals – by 13.5%, motorcars – by 23%.
