Russia’s coal production up 4.1% in Jan.-Sep. 2006
Russia’s coal production amounted in January-September 2006 to 223 million tons and coke production – to 24.3 million tons (+4.1% +2.6% against year-on-year result), Federal State Statistics Service reports according to AK&M agency. In September coal production decreased by 1.4% against year-on-year result and grew by 4.4% against August 2006. Production of coke in September 2006 grew by 6.2% against year-on-year result and decreased by 0.1% against August 2006.
