Russia’s production of rolled ferrous metal up 7.4% in Jan.-Sep. 2006
Russia’s production of rolled ferrous metal amounted in January-September 2006 to 43.3 million tons (+7.4% against year-on-year result), Federal State Statistics Service reports according to AK&M agency. Production of steel pipes grew over the reported period by 18.3% to 5.8 million tons. Coke production amounted to 24.3 million tons (+2.6% against January-September 2005). Ore production grew by 7.7% to 75.8 million tons.
