Rosdorleasing acquires 600 general-purpose containers
Leasing company Rosdorleasing has acquired 600 general-purpose containers manufactured by Abakanvagonmash, together to be costing 64.9 million rubles, RZhD-Partner reports. The containers are purchased in the interests of Russian container carriers – STIM CJSC and Container Transport Lines CJSC. Leasing agreements to a total amount of 96 million rubles were signed in August-September 2006. Both deals of Rosdorleasing provision advance payment of less than 5% under leasing period of 41 months and 5 years, Rosdorleasing’s press secretary reported. First consignment of 45 containers arrived to Moscow yesterday. Though the containers are marked with the signs of lessees, they are to stay at the balance of Rosdorleasing till the end of financial lease. 1CC containers are designed for transportation by motor, railway and sea transport. So they are to be used for different cargo transportation across Russia including lines between Primorsk and Khabarovsk territories, Sakhalin and Kamchtka regions.
Rosdorleasing was established by the Government of RF in April 1999. In December 2005 the company was reorganized into open joint stock company Rosdorleasing with 100% of stock owned by the government. The company’s branches and subdivisions operate in Saint Petersburg, Ural (Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk) and Volga region (Nizhnij Novgorod).
