Construction of A-class logistics complex has been started in Ukraine
Construction of a large A-class logistics complex has been started in Ukraine, MLP’s press service reports according to RBC-Ukraine. The construction is being carried out at a 20-hectares site, located close to Kiev-Lvov international line (Е-40), which carries up to 30% of Kiev’s transport flow. The project includes construction of about 100 thou square meters of "А"-class warehouses, as well as offices. MLP-Chaika logistics project implies construction of a number of loading platforms, installation of modern temperature control system, as well as safety systems complying with international standards. The project’s first phase is under construction now. Its total area is to exceed 35 thou square km. The phase is to be put into operation in the 4th quarter of 2007. The project is supported by Kiev regional administration in compliance with the policy of attracting foreign investments into Ukraine’s economy. Total volume of investments into MLP-Chaika project is about $78 million. New complex is to create 1 thou working places and ensure considerable tax proceeds for regional budgets.
