Cargo turnover of Vladivostok Container Terminal up 20.41% in January-September
Cargo turnover of Vladivostok Container Terminal (VCT) climbed in January-September 2006 up 20.41% against year-on-year result to 105 113 TEU, the company’s press release reports. In September the terminal handled 12 594 TEU (+13.17% against year-on-year result). VTC’s September export amounted to 3 948 TEU, import – 3 949 TEU, coastwise cargo transshipment amounted to 4 697 TEU. Share of loaded and empty containers is 60.27 % and 39.73 % correspondingly.
Vladivostok Container Terminal LLC (VCT) is a container terminal operating at the territory of Vladivostok port. The terminal is co-managed by Vladivostok Sea Trade Port and Severstaltrans Group of Companies. Cargo turnover of the terminal amounted in 2005 to 124 721 TEU.
