Cargo turnover of Odessa Sea Trade Port up 3.3% in January-September
Cargo turnover of Odessa Sea Trade Port (Ukraine) grew in January-September by 3.3% against year-on-year result to 21.5 million tons, the port’s Administration says according to RBC. Turnover of dry cargo grew by 8.2% to 11.4 million tons including general cargo growth by 11.9% to 8.2 million tons liquid bulk cargo decrease by 1.7% to 10.1 million tons. In September 2006 cargo turnover grew to 2.6 million tons (+30.8% against year-on-year result), including turnover of dry cargo amounting to 1.6 million tons (+17.9%) and liquid bulk cargo – to 1 million tons (1.6-times increase).
