Ukrainian sea fishing ports 1H06 cargo turnover down 18.7%
Total cargo turnover of all Ukrainian sea fishing ports decreased in the first half of 2006 by 18.7% to 2 million tons, Ukrrechflot reports according to RBC-Ukraine. Export decreased by 7.4% to 1.03 million tons, transit – by 36% to 0.7 million tons, costal transshipment – by 31.8% to 0.07 million tons, import grew by 18.3% to 0.23 million tons. Amount of vessels handled over the reported period decreased by 16.7% to 610, including 6%-growth of foreign flag vessels – to 388.
