Over the reported period 2.4 million tons of oil products were transported from Astrakhan in excess of the plan (+2% against plan); ferrous metals scrap – 135.7 thou tons (+9.6% against plan); salt – 663.8 thou tons (+0.8% against plan); industrial goods – 17.1 thou tons (+142.7% against plan and + 422.9% against year-on-year result). Owing to increased consumer demand and marketing development the plan on ferrous metal loading was exceeded by 219.1%, imported cargo – by 282.2%, mixed consignments by 130.5%, container cargo – by 104.7%, cement – by 108.4%, mixed feed-stuff – by 209.8%, metalware – by 100.7%, machines and equipment – by a factor of 14, timber – by 365.9%, food-stuff – by a factor of 11, motor cars – by 620.9%, coke – by 125.2%. Cargo turnover of Astrakhan division of Volga Railway amounted to 10 billion 384.1 million net tons per kilometer, average daily – 38.04 million net tons per kilometer (similar to last year results).
