South-Urals Railway loaded 7.99 million tons of cargo in September 2006. According to SURW’s PR Service, this result is 6.8% higher as compared with year-on-year result (+508 thou tons). 190 thou tons of cargo were transported in excess of the plan. In September the railway transported 1.7 million tons of ferrous metal (+106 against plan), over 1 million tons of oil products (+2.2 thou tons against plan) and 166 thou tons of grain (+61 thou tons against plan).
