Gazprom Neft OJSC vice president was appointed Alexander Abramkov, said in the company's announcement.
He will be responsible for capital development.
Alexander Abramkov was born on October 13 1977. 2000 graduated from magistracy of Management faculty of SPSU. 2000-2005 Financial Director of Sanktpeterburgskie taksofony CJSC, a subsidiary enterprise of Telecominvest OJSC. 2005-2006 Financial Director of VimpelCom's OJSC northwestern region. 2006-2007 economy and finance deputy director of Abros investment company.
Gazprom Neft is one of the largest oil companies in Russia. Its major shareholder is Gazprom who in October 2005 purchased 72.66% of the Company's shares for $13.079 bn, and thus increased its share to 75.68%. Another 20% of Gazprom Neft's shares are owned by YUKOS. In 2006 Gazprom Neft lowered its consolidated oil production by 1.7% to 44.4 million tons. The company's oil production lowered by 1% to 32.7 mil tons in 2006.
Gazprom Neft ranks eight in the list of Russian leading companies according to the results of 2005, published by AK&M September 2006.
