Hamburg Sud to call at Adelaide on Trident service
Hamburg Sud is adding a direct port call at Adelaide, South Australia, to its Trident service, effective with the arrival of the containership, the Cap Saray on May 20.
The change will provide a direct service between Adelaide and North America. The shipping line is also planning to raise the frequency of the new port call from fortnightly at first to weekly over time.
In addition, the southbound call of the Trident service at New Zealand's North Island will move from Auckland to Tauranga. The change is intended to consolidate southbound and northbound calls in Tauranga.
Hamburg Sud's Trident service provides weekly departures linking North Europe, the east coast of North America, Australia and New Zealand. Direct calls in Cartagena and Colombia connect Trident with Hamburg Sud's Latin American service network, a company statement added.
