MOL to establish branch in Gdynia, Poland, April 1
Japanese multi-modal transportation company MOL is opening a new branch in Gdynia, Poland from April 1
The new company named, MOL (Europe) BV Sp. z.o.o. Oddzial w Polsce, will focus on providing liner shipping services and assumes the duties handled by Vector Shipping, MOL's agent in Poland. It will employ 16 staff under the direction of Jaroslaw Grochowski.
MOL says it made the decision to establish its own agency in Poland within the MOL Group in a bid to continue its expansion in a country which is now experiencing strong economic growth.
The Polish branch is being tasked with expanding MOL's global network and increasing business in eastern Europe in the wake of the establishment of MOL Austria to drive sales forward in central and south eastern Europe, and more recently opening a representative office in Russia that will service the Baltic states.
