East Mediterranean Express service expands with vew vessel
Yang Ming Marine’s 1997-built, 2,700 teu boxship YM Ibiza has inaugurated a new East Mediterranean Express service, operated jointly by Yang Ming, Cosco Container Lines and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, writes Keith Wallis.
The service features seven vessels with the Taiwan carrier providing two, Coscon four and K Line one. The service, which targets the Israeli and Greek markets, includes calls at Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Suez Canal, Piraeus and Thessaloniki.
