The MAERSK BROOKLYN (5,000 teu) employed as punctual feeder to Poland
The just delivered 5,000 teu newbuilding MAERSK BROOKLYN will perform this week a rotation between Bremerhaven, Aarhus and Gdynia before proceeding to the Far East to join the FE-USEC TP-7 service. Although Aarhus uses to receive the world biggest container ships every week (with the AE-1 loop), Maersk usually serves Gdynia with a dedicated feeder, currently the 1,216 teu AMALTHEA (90205). The MAERSK BROOKLYN will be the largest containership calling at Gdynia. She will be of course routed via the Belts as she is way too large for the Kiel Canal.
