TS Lines to start intra-Asia CMX line soon
TS Lines is preparing to launch a new intra-Asia service called CMX on March 18 that aims to offer faster transshipment times.
The new line uses Hong Kong as a transshipment hub, from where cargo is transported onwards to north China, Japan and Korea and the Philippines in the south.
Two 1,100-TEU containerships will be deployed on this weekly service.
The port rotation for the CMX will be: Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Manila South, Manila North, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, returning to Shanghai. A round trip will take 14 days.
