Wan Hai to offer shuttle service from HK to Japan
Wan Hai is starting a new shuttle service from next month which it calls, New Super. The service will link Hong Kong and with the main Kansai ports of Osaka and Kobe in Japan.
The New Super Service will deploy two vessels, named Hansa Rostock and Hansa Stralsund.
The port rotation for the new service will be: Hong Kong, Osaka, Kobe, Tokuyama, Moji, Hakata, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian and back to Hong Kong.
The closing time is Friday 2300 hours. The service will depart from Hong Kong every Saturday and arrive in Osaka and Kobe on Wednesdays and Thursdays respectively. The transit time from Hong Kong to Osaka is four days and five days to Kobe.
The service will kick off with the sailing of the Hansa Rostock from Hong Kong on March 24.
In addition to the New Super, Wan Hai operates 10 services on the Hong Kong to Japan routing, including five direct services to Kanto and five direct services to Kansai, a company statement added.
