Macfarlane Group buys Bloomfield Supplies for up to 2.0 mln stg
Macfarlane Group PLC said it has agreed to acquire packaging distributor Bloomfield Supplies Ltd for up to 2.0 mln stg in cash, in a bid to develop its packaging distribution business.
The company said it will pay 1.15 mln stg immediately and the outstanding amount will be payable in the final quarter of 2007, subject to the company meeting certain trading targets up to Sept 30, 2007.
Bloomfield complements Macfarlane's existing packaging distribution activities, primarily in the south-west of the UK.
