St. Petersburg's Almaz shipyard to deliver the Sobol high-speed motor boat to the Border Guard of RF FSB at the end of November. This information has been provided by RIA Novosti. According to Leonid Grabovets, Director General of the Company, the patrol boat of Sobol 12200 project build for Border Guard was launched at the end of September and tomorrow the sea trial shall be started. At the end of November the boat will be delivered to the customer. According to him, Sobol 12200 project was presented on Friday to the delegation of Singapore Defense Ministry headed by Teo Chi Khin. As Grabovets says, the delegation was very interested in the project, as well as in the Zubr 12322 project - the world's largest air cushioned landing craft. The Director of Almaz shipyard does not exclude that Singapore Defense Ministry may take positive decision as regards a contract with Almaz for construction of such boats.
