Throughput of port Taganrog in 9M'2019 fell by 8% to 2.13 million tonnes
In January-September 2019, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 2.13 million tonnes of cargo (-8%, year-on-year), the Azov Sea Ports Administration told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of oil products grew by 21% to 641,000 tonnes, ferrous metal – by 15% to 67,000 tonnes. Meanwhile, transshipment of grain dropped by 19% to 907,000 tonnes, coal – by 17% to 380,000 tonnes.
Imports declined by 5% to 76,000 tonnes, exports - by 5% to 1.287 million tonnes, short-sea traffic – by 14% to 767,000 tonnes.
In January-September 2019, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 544 arrivals and 524 departures including port fleet vessels versus 601 arrivals and 582 departures in January-September 2018.
