RF Navy's Primorskaya flotilla ships arrived in Kamchatka
The detachment of ships of the Primorskaya flotilla of the Pacific fleet composed of Missile Range Instrumentation Ship "Marshal Krylov", anti-submarine ship "Admiral Panteleev", corvettes "Sovershennyy" and "Gromkiy", missile boats, and hospital ship "Irtysh" made a sea passage from Vladivostok to the Kamchatka peninsula, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
During the sea passage, the crews, in collaboration with the Pacific fleet’s naval aviation, completed the tasks of air defense and anti-submarine defense of the detachment, improved the tactics of striking on a mock enemy’s ships by a missile-boat group, carried out a sea rescue tactics, communications and joint tactical maneuvering.
After a brief stop and stores replenishment to full standards, the ships will conduct planned missile and artillery gunnery drills in the Sea of Okhotsk in the framework of a series of tactical exercises of the formation.
