Vladivostok welcomes Costa Serena for the second time this May
Italian cruise liner Costa Serena called at the port of Vladivostok four days after her previous call. According to the press center of Vladivostok terminal, the ship operating in the Asia-Pacific region delivered about 3,000 passengers from the Republic of Korea.
The ship came from the Korean port of Sokcho and will leave for the Japanese port of Otaru after a 9-hour stay in Vladivostok.
Cruise season of 2019 in the Primorsky Territory began in March and will last till the end of October. At least 16 calls are expected during the cruise season.
According to Valery Nagorny, general Director of Vladivostok terminal, Vladivostok will welcome both the liners which used to call it earlier and the ‘newcomers’ including Royal Caribbean’s Spectrum of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas. This year, Vladivostok is to obtain the status of a departure/return port which provides additional opportunities for tourist market development.
