Throughput of port Taganrog in 11M'18 up 3% to 2.78 million tonnes
In January-November 2018, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 2.782 million tonnes of cargo (+3%, year-on-year), the Azov Sea Ports Administration told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of oil products grew by 72% to 606,000 tonnes while transshipment of grain decreased by 1% to 1.352 million tonnes, coal – by 19% to 567,000 tonnes, ferrous metal – by 22% to 84,000 toones.
Exports dropped by 6% to 1.624 million tonnes, imports – by 1% to 89,000 tonnes while short-sea traffic grew by 20% to 1.07 million tonnes.
In the 11-months period of 2018, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 726 arrivals and 711 departures including port fleet vessels versus 751 arrivals and 741 departures in January-November 2017.
