Pacific Fleet detachment of RF Navy completes a visit to Singapore
On December 2, a detachment of the Pacific Fleet warships made up of the PF flagship Guards Order of Nakhimov missile cruiser Varyag, the major ASW ship Admiral Panteleyev and the large ship tanker Boris Butoma has completed a call at the main naval base of Changi (Singapore), which started on November 27, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The detachment's command paid a courtesy visit to the Singaporean Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, the commander of the main naval base of Changi and the Mayor of the city as part of the visit.
The PF flagship Guards Order of Nakhimov missile cruiser Varyag has been visited by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Singapore Andrey Tatarinov and other representatives of Russian diplomatic mission.
During the open day, the seamen of the Singaporean Navy had an opportunity to explore Russian warships.
Bus tours to the historical places of the city were organized for the servicemen of the Pacific Fleet.
