Russia needs large Ro-Ro ships for Caspian Sea – Igor Levitin
Russia should build Ro-Ro ships of large capacity for cargo shipping in the Caspian Sea, PortNews correspondent cites Igor Levitin, Aide to the President of Russia, as saying at the industry focused conference “Maritime and River Transport as a System Element of the Backbone Infrastructure” held as part of the Transport Week in Moscow.
According to Igor Levitin, the Convention on legal status of the Caspian Sea signed recently gives the green light for its active development.
