Nevsky Shipyard launched dry cargo vessel of Project RSD59 «Pola Anfisa»
On 13 November 2018, Nevsky Shipyard launched the single-deck dry cargo vessel of mixed “river-sea” navigation “Pola Anfisa” (Project RSD 59).
Nevsky Shipyard says the ship of Project RSD59 is the second in a series of five dry cargo carriers under a trilateral contract with State Transport Leasing Company as a customer and shipping company Pola Rise as a leaseholder.
Project RSD59 designer is Marine Engineering Bureau – Design SPb.
Type of the ship: Steel single-deck, motor ship, with two fullrotated rudder propellers, with two cargo holds, with a forecastle and poop, with aft arrangement of habitable deck-house and engine-room, with a double bottom and double sides in the area of cargo hold, with cylindrical bow and transom aft extremities, with liftaway type hatch covers, with bow thruster.
The ship is being constructed on the RS class: КМ Ice2 R2 АUT1-ICS

The lead ship of project RSD59, Pola Anatolia, was launched on 5 July 2018.
Schliesselburg, Russia based Nevsky Shipyard, LLC is one of the oldest enterprises of water transport in Russia’s North-West region, which has been building and repairing ships from 1952. Nevsky Shipyard’s production facilities are located on the left bank of the Neva River. The shipyard builds sea-going and inland vessels and performs repair and maintenance of any types. Its own shiplift enables Nevsky Shipyard to launch and lift for drydocking 150-m-long, 4,800-tonne ships.
