Yug-2 terminal (port Ust-Luga) handled 2.55 million tonnes in 8M’2018, up 51% Y-o-Y
In January-August 2018, Yug-2 terminal (port Ust-Luga) handled 2.55 million tonnes of cargo, up 51%, year-on-year, says press center of AO Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga.
In August, throughput exceeded 650,000 tonnes, up 400% vs August 2017, which is a record high result over the terminal’s entire history.
In August, transshipment of export coal totaled 572,000 tonnes, mineral fertilizers – 87,000 tonnes.
In 2018, Yug-2 is going to handle about 5 million tonnes of cargo, twice as much as in 2017.
AO Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga is a stevedoring company operating multipurpose terminal YUG-2 and Auto-Railway Ferry Terminal. In 2017, the company handled 3.8 million tonnes of cargo.
