Vigor Marine LLC gets Navy's contract for USNS Mercy mid-term availability
Vigor Marine LLC, Portland, Oregon, is being awarded a $16,286,095 firm-fixed-price contract for the USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) mid-term availability commencing on Aug. 27, 2018. Work will include marine sanitation device unit deck repairs, auxiliary salt water piping renewal, marine sanitation device controller repairs, HVAC cleaning, industrial support, vinyl deck tile repairs, laundry modifications and fan coil and orifice and valve installation, the US DoD contract announcement said.
This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $18,077,737. Work will be performed in Portland, Oregon, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 26, 2018. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) Extended Service Life Program funds in the amount of $16,286,095 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was procured with proposals solicited via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with one offer received.
