Port of Singapore throughput in HI’18 grew by 0.8% Y-o-Y to 312.79 million tonnes
Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-June 2018, increased by 0.8% compared to the corresponding period of 2017 to 312.79 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
Handling of oil cargo fell by 5.7% to 109.04 million tonnes, dry bulk cargo – down 10.8% to 8.34 million tonnes.
Container traffic grew by 11.5% to 18.02 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in the South-East Asia. In 2017, the port handled 626.17 million tonnes of cargo.
